Colorado Black Round Table – GAINING GROUND IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY SUMMIT

The Colorado Black Round Table announced today that as a part of the upcoming GAINING GROUND IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY SUMMIT, scheduled for October 17-20, Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce President, Malcom Evans will lead a economic opportunity session on “Doing Business with the Black Community – Part 1″on Thursday, October 17th at 3:15pm in the New Hope Baptist Church Family Life Center(NBCFLC), 3701 Coloradodo Blvd. This session will include presentations from representatives of Aurora and Denver City Economic Development Offices, CO State Government Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Colorado Procurement Technical Center, Denver Public Schools and the Regional Transportation District (RTD). Further, at 4:15 there will a session on “Doing Business with the Black Community – Part 2”. This session will look at Equity in the Cannabis Industry, The new Parkhill development proposal with Westside Investment Partners, the Five Ponts Development Corporation’s “Vision for Five Points” and more. In addition, Malcom Evans will receive the CBRT Black Men’s Leadership Recognition Plaque in the NHBCFLC on Friday, October 18th at 6:15pm immediately following the Black Community conversation with Colorado Governor Jared Polis.
