CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS EXTENDED

DEADLINE EXTENDED: MARCH 8, 2019

COMTO is seeking fresh, innovative, cutting edge proposals for presentations, panel discussions and workshops for the 48th Annual COMTO National Meeting & Training Conference.  

The event will be held July 12–16, 2019 at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel in Tampa, Florida.

Our National Conference is the premier gathering of professionals in the transportation industry, attracting more than 800 industry officials at all career levels seeking best practices, tools and solutions to workplace and industry challenges.

The proposals, due March 8, should be relevant to our 2016-2020 strategic goals and should connect with the conference theme of “Intelligent Mobility.”

Accepted proposals will fall into one of the following five workshop tracks: 

  • Accessibility and Innovative Mobility
  • Historically Underutilized Business
  • Leadership
  • Transportation Policy
  • Transportation Technical

Proposals should identify objectives and measurable outcomes, and demonstrate its importance to the transportation industry. Sessions proposed should be CEU (continuing education units) eligible to comply with our efforts to offer certification and CEU hours to conference attendees.

  • Online Submission Opens: December 3, 2018
  • Online Submission period extended to: March 08, 2019
  • Conference Registration Opens: March 22, 2019
  • Proposal Acceptance Notification April 1, 2019
  • Presenter Conference Registration Deadline: June 1, 2019
  • Final Presentation Outline Due: June 12, 2019
